Brava City Council Thanks "Djunta Mom", a union of efforts in civic action to clean the access road to the town of Braga.
Nova Sintra, September 11, 2023 - Brava City Council expresses its gratitude to local residents for their joint effort in restoring the road after the intense rains that hit the town and the island on September 7th. This demonstration of solidarity and collaboration was called "Djunta Mom", carried out by the population of Braga, with the lunch financed by the Brava City Council.
Braga residents came together for an impressive civic action. With brooms, shovels, hoe, pickaxes and unwavering determination, the community worked tirelessly to clean the road that had been damaged by the torrential rains.
Brava City Council demonstrated its support for the initiative by providing lunch for the volunteers, as a form of recognition for the hard work and spirit of solidarity shown by everyone involved.
